This image represents the conflict between countries the broken rings and wheels represent the troubles that countries had in those times whilst the man is representing europe and how it is taking a leap into the unknown. The broken wheels are represented as the oldest problem people have had was to have a broken wheel because without wheels you could not travel anywhere. Henri pried his camera through a gap in the fence and took this amazing photograph which is known as the best photo of all time.
This is the camera that was used by Henri to capture the most important moment of the 20th century. This camera was used by Cartier Bresson to take snapshots of the most controversial and influencial photos of his age. the good things about this camera are that it is light therefore the photographer can easily aim the camera at anything he wants. This camera was the pinnacle of decisive moment photography because it was light and unlike other cameras could take photos quickly.
Good Start Andy can you include some conclusion from your ideas on this type of photography. For example what was the effect of these instant snapshots have on our perception of war or for that matter life/reality? How did it change the course of later wars like Vietnam, Eddie Adams?
